The arena of life shifts once again as I prepare to embrace my 26 years of life. This past year has been a wonderful experience for me— a quarter-life reality filled with challenges and growth. Each twist and turn has felt like a new chapter in the ongoing story of my “Quarter Quell,” and this time, I’m stepping into the role of both Tribute and Game-Maker, shaping my path with intentionality and courage.

Looking back to the past year…

Last year, I set a few commitments that became my guiding light. From all of the learnings I experienced in the past year, these are my top 3 learnings:

Embracing Challenges: I learned to validate every emotion, share my struggles with trusted people, and celebrate joy with those who matter most. Vulnerability, as it turns out, is not a weakness but a superpower when shared with the right people. I learned that embracing challenges is not just about the new challenges itself, but sometimes it is about how you reflect back on the life you have until now and you will see that you have been through a lot in the past. The most crucial part is that you are still here. Striving.

Resisting the Arena of Expectations: Comparing myself to others proved to be a thief of joy, so I redirected that energy inward. I focused on personal growth, created small wins, and even started mid-points in everything that I am aiming to initiate. So far, this has helped me to achieve my first 3 digits of saving, develop the foundation I have been building, and create a prospective business that helps people.

Navigating Unpredictable Turns: When life threw surprises my way, I learned to adapt, I do have some struggles obviously. But in any case, I survived. I always survived. A simple yet profound quality time with my family on any occasion became a cornerstone memory, reminding me of what truly matters.

Looking Ahead to Year 26

As I step into this new chapter, I carry forward lessons from the last year while setting new intentions.

Growth often comes along with difficulties. In the upcoming year, I aim to approach obstacles with curiosity instead of fear. I’ll keep reminding myself that…

Once you become a star, your light will never fade.

Embracing a genuine relationship are the Mockingjays in my life — the symbols of hope and support. I’ll nurture these bonds to lead me to more and more accomplishments in life.

The social responsibility project that I am aiming is definetely will definitely evolve. Perhaps it will grow into something bigger, touching more lives. 25 years in my life have passed, and I really want to make the next chapter of my life became the most impactful one for me and most especially for a lot of people around me.

In the upcoming years, I’ll keep striving to live authentically, letting my passions guide me and daring to challenge norms when needed. Planting the beliefs of value that I always have in every decision I have created, which is…

Make it relevant!

I wrote this letter back in June 2024, and it comes into a realization that…

Remember that you have to be the first person who must believe that you could accomplish so much in this life.

One thing I’ve learned is that life will never stop surprising us. The goal isn’t just to survive anymore — it’s to thrive, to live fully, and to discover parts of myself I never knew existed.

As I turn 26, I celebrate not just another year but celebrating every values that I hold in my life which guides me to my position now. Here’s to embracing every moment, finding hope, and surprising myself with what I can achieve. Therefore, I will always end up making something relevant for many lives.

This year, I celebrate the growth I’ve experienced and the lessons I’ve learned. I celebrate the people who have supported me, inspired me, and shared their stories with me. And I celebrate the chance to do the same for others, to be a small light in someone else’s journey.

Next year, I will ensure that everyday in my life will always be full of celebration towards the beliefs and values I hold in my life which makes me understand how beautiful our life as humans can be.

Last but not least,

#surpriseyourself, always.
