Everyone must have something to achieve in their lives, right?

Some of them want a big thing, while others might only need to achieve small beautiful things. There is no difference because all that matters is the journey of achieving it and the fulfillment after.

Once, there was a boy who loved stars very much. Every night, through his bedroom’s window, stargazing. He wished that he had one of those stars.

  1. The first Ideas

When we are trying to achieve something, sometimes we always come out with first ideas, then we decide to try them because it is normal to feel excited since the earlier you try to achieve it, the more chance for you to get it.

The boy who love stars think that the stars might be a bit tired to stayed all night and have no power to go. So the best way to catch it is by waking up early morning and catch it. But, when the sun goes up…. The stars has faded.

2. The learnings from the first trial

After we tried the first ideas, we felt like there was something wrong. We tend to give a period of time just to know what is really going on. This is the moment when you are able to learn and improve.

The boy seems a bit confused because there was no stars at the sky, so he wait. Until the suns raised above his heads, he eat lunch, he played, and he learns something! The stars will only be there in the sky at night.

3. The true first trial

After we realized that there is something wrong with the way we try to achieve our goals, we think it is best to give it a shot at how we actually planned to achieve it at first.

The boy became excited and he jump, jump and jump. Try to reach the stars but he realized that it is too high for him to cacth it.

4. Seeing possibilities in the surrounding

We know that we need to do something better than the first idea, so we need to find something that can help us by seeing what we can use in our surroundings.

The boy try to climb the tree but the three was too short, he also try to throw the rope he has but the rope seems a bit short as well, and he even tried to use his spaceship but he forgot that his ship run out of petrol last week.

5. When we almost give up. “Almost”

There will be a time when we feel like it is time to give up, and we think that the goals are not something that is meant for us. This is the part where we are on the edge of the surrender cliff.

The boy realized that he tried so many things but it is not working. So he decided to giving up for a moment and try to think. He also think that maybe the stars not meant to be for him. Until he sees something floating in the water near him.

6. Understanding the alternatives

Sometimes, when we tried everything and every way. We tend to think that there are no ways anymore until there will be unexpected moments that give us alternatives.

The boy try to reach the things that is floating in the water near him and turns out… It is a stars!

7. Learn and Recognize

After we know that there is an alternative, try to think whether we did try our best or not. If you did then that is good, recognize that part! If you think something needed to be improved, then try to think from another picture of perspective.
