2022: Made a lot of hard decisions through many hard times, just like another year.
From questioning a lot about my life expectancy, and learning that life should not always go like that experience from the old one. Surprise yourself.
From questioning what makes me fulfilled as a person today? What makes me think that spending my 24 hours with all those sadness, happiness and all various feeling in this world is the good life I strive for.
Experiencing sickness, failure, happiness, achievement, milestones, excitement, fear, funny, cloudy, remarkable journey.
To have a good and interesting journal for 2022, I will try to answer some of the questions I found in a book I read called “Letting Go, The Pathway of Surrender” by David R. Hawkins, M.D., P.Hd.
- What in the world is wrong with us?
I know sometimes I feel like I did something wrong, like really wrong. But, I can’t deny that the only thing that made me survive is to think that there is no right or wrong. It is just a matter of perspective and point of view. It is easy to blame the world for whatever happened to you, but it will give you leftover feelings where it is just not the right thing to do. After all, it goes back and forth.
2. Why doesn’t happiness stay put?
Well, your life won’t be perfect if you always be happy. It is about being fulfilled. It is about how you can make sure that you are satisfied with the things you go through in a day, with all of those various feelings and experiences you got.
3. Where are the answers?
Hard situations often create a very difficult time for me to think about the wisest decisions, especially when I got a deadline. But, what I did was just do it. But, I need to commit to myself that I will learn from whatever the result is.
4. Have I gone nuts, or has the world gone crazy?
Both are true because you experience so many things where it gives you a responsibility to be even more mature and careful than before. In this crazy world, you can go nuts sometimes.
5. Is everybody confused?
Yes, most of them. It is okay if you are not finding the best life and living it in the current times. The universe will keep the best part of your life after it sees how you react toward the result. So, not only that, I have to be wise in taking decisions but also be wise in responding to reality.
6. Does everybody have a secret?
Yes, yes, who has no secret? we are just human beings. There will be times when you don’t want to share everything and maybe a little bit of making things up so that it won’t blow up.
7. Does God know what he’s doing?
I just had a call with my mom, talking about why we are praying so much but God also tries to give us so many issues in our lives. Well, that is the point. He wants to let you learn and learn and learn. The way you react to every issue in your life will define how close you are to God.
Thank you for 2022 and other years in the past. It is an honor to accept every responsibility I have, and I am beyond grateful to welcome 2023 with more responsibility and lessons to make myself even better in the future. Keep surprising me. 💙
